Description

The GDome XL Camera Base Plate Tray Mount is the core mounting platform that secures your camera inside the GDome XL housing and allows you to precisely position it for optimal balance and lens alignment.

Unlike fixed mounts, this base plate features a sliding slot system, allowing you to move your camera forward or backward to fine-tune its position relative to the dome or flat port. This ensures you can achieve the correct lens placement for the best possible image quality and framing.

Once adjusted, the camera locks firmly into place using the tray system, providing a stable, vibration-resistant mount that holds securely even in fast-moving or heavy surf conditions.

This product does not include the backer bar or the 1/4”-20 camera mounting screw, which are sold separately.
