Being offered for sale is the vintage U.S. NAVY “MEDICAL DEPARTMENT” MEDICINE BOTTLE SET (including a hard to find “DOVER’S POWDER” POISON that’s marked “CONTAINS OPIUM TO PRODUCE SWEATING”), from circa post-1930 -to- the mid 20th century (best educated guess), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. All bottles are in Very Good/VG+ condition with NO chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. All have their original caps and all but 2 have their original paper labels. The case, on the other hand, is in rough, quite poor condition (see last 5 pictures) but when closed up tight with snap-button, remains structurally rigid & strong, still serving its function to protect the glass bottles. Each bottle measures 3″ tall, overall (base to top of cap) x 1-1/8″ square (at base). Total weight of set is 2 lbs. 12.5 oz..
