Description

Being offered for sale is the antique 3″ (wide) SLICK by WILLIAM BEATTY & SON of Chester, circa the late 19th or early 20th century (best guess), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale AS-FOUND, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED or your money back…no questions asked!

Very Good/VG+ antique condition with minor -to- moderate overall cosmetic wear from normal use over the years. Blade could use a fresh sharpening and has a tiny nick near one end (see pics). Minor pitting throughout. Original wood handle is in great shape and has outstanding patina. All-in-all a fine example of a hard to find woodworking tool! See pics.

Measures 20-1/2″ long, overall. Slick is approx. 16″ long x 3″ wide (at blade edge). Weighs 3 lbs. 10.0 oz..
