Being offered for sale is the VERY RARE antique SKULL AND CROSSBONES “STORY PADLOCK” (with working but NOT original key) by unknown maker (no visible maker’s mark(s)), from circa the late 19th or early 20th century (best educated guess), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. CONDITION NOTES:

Very Good/Excellent vintage condition with just minor -to- moderate overall cosmetic wear throughout but NO breaks or repairs. Key is NOT original (clearly) but works perfectly, popping the shackle open with strong spring-action. Closes/locks in place with a crisp click. Entire lock is adorned with absolutely fantastic, rich patina (including the remnants of some old, faded red paint) throughout. See pics.

Measures 3-1/4″ tall (when shackle is in fully locked position) x 2-7/16″ wide (at widest) x 45/64″ thick/deep (overall, including skull protrusion). Weighs 5.8 oz..
