Being offered for sale is the antique “KIRKMAN’S BORAX SOAP” WOOD CRATE / BOX (no lid BUT features DECORATION AT ALL FOUR SIDES), from circa the mid -to- late 19th (best guess – soap brand was launch by Kirkman in 1837), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale AS-FOUND, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential.

CONDITION DESCRIPTION:
* ALL FOUR DECORATED SIDES ARE CLEARLY VISIBLE THRU MEDIUM -TO- HEAVY PATINA – SEE PICS.
* DAMAGE AT RIM/LIP, ALONG ONE SIDE-PANEL – SEE PICS.
* DAMAGE AT CORNER OF BASE – SEE LAST 2 PICS.
* BOX REMAINS STRUCTURALLY RIGID & FAIRLY STRONG – don’t go storing your spare bricks in it and you should be fine.
